Digital Painting
I sometimes try to refer to myself as the ultimate all-rounder as someone who does programming, 3D art and 2D art as well.
Even so, with regards to drawing, I do focus mostly on characters, as that interests me the most.
On this page, you’ll find drawings of people exclusively.
(Although environment and prop pieces may appear in the future as well.)
Design for my OC, Ellie
Beret: A study I started quite some time ago, but dropped due to struggling with the hair and tattoo. Picked it up later and figured both out.
Colour study
Quick experiment on darker skintones and big, fluffy hair
Illustration 1/3 out of a series, displaying a show of strength and resilience even when cracks are visible
Illustration 2/3 out of a series, based on the Japanese concept of kintsugi, where ceramics get repaired with gold or the like. It shows things can be (more) beautiful, despite having been broken.
A digital drawing of Ellie, a character I designed
Antoinette: A Dungeons & Dragons character I made, along with her parents
A selfie sketch in which I tried to capture the shape of my face through lighting and the essence through smart placement of colour areas (mostly for the hair).
Quick selfie sketch
Quick value and anatomy/body shape study
